In this text:

(i) "Hague agreement" Refers to the "Hague Agreement on the International Preservation of Industrial Designs" , Hereinafter referred to as "Hague Agreement on the International Registration of Industrial Designs" ;

(ii) "text" Refers to the Hague Agreement as formulated by the current text;

(iii) "Implementation rules" Means the implementation rules of this text;

(iv) "prescribed" Refers to those specified in the Rules for Implementation;

(v) "Paris convention" Refers to the 1883 years 3 month 20 Signed in Paris, as amended and amended "Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property" ;

(vi) "International registration" Means the international registration of industrial designs under this document;

(vii) "International application" International registration application;

(viii) "International register" Means the official compilation of international registration data maintained by the International Bureau, This data is required or permitted to be registered in this document or the Rules, And regardless of the vehicle in which the data is stored;

(ix) "people" Refers to natural or legal person;

(x) "applicant" Means the person whose name has submitted the international application;

(xi) "registrant" Means a person whose name is registered in the International Register;

(xii) "Intergovernmental organization" Reference control 27 article (1) paragraph (ii) The intergovernmental organizations eligible to participate in this article;

(xiii) "Contracting party" Means any State or intergovernmental organization participating in this text;

(xiv) "Applicant's contracting party" The applicant is in compliance with No 3 A Contracting Party or one of the Contracting Parties that has acquired the right to submit an international application under at least one of the conditions set forth in this Article; If the applicant is subject to no 3 Two or more Contracting Parties have been granted the right to submit international applications, the "Applicant's contracting party" Which of these Parties is named in the international application;
