1. (1) These rules may be called 2014 Annual patent (revise) Detailed rules.

(2) These rules shall take effect from the date of their publication in an official announcement.

2. in 2004 Annual patent rules (Hereinafter referred to as master rules) The first 2 article, ——

(i) in (d) After term, The following shall be inserted, namely: ——

' (da) "Persons other than natural persons" Shall include "Small entity" ' ;

(ii) in (f) After term, The following shall be inserted, namely: ——

(i) If the firm is involved in the manufacture or production of goods, Plant and machinery investment did not exceed 2006 years "miniature, Small and medium-sized Enterprise Development Law" (2006 Annual regulation 27 No) The first 7 article (1) paragraph (a) Enterprises for which the limit is specified for medium-sized enterprises; and

(ii) If the business is involved in service provision or presentation, The equipment investment is not more than 2006 years "miniature, Small and medium-sized Enterprise Development Law" (2006 Annual regulation 27 No) The first 7 article (1) paragraph (b) Enterprises for which the limit is specified for medium-sized enterprises.

" (3A) If an application processed by a small entity is transferred in whole or in part to a person other than a natural person (Small entities excepted) , The fee charged to the small entity is the same as that charged to the person other than a natural person on the same thing (Small entities excepted) The difference in fee standards between fees charged, If there is a difference, Payment shall be made by the new applicant with the transfer request. " ;
